2 days chimpanzee tracking in Nyungwe National Park is an amazing and fascinating chimpanzee trek safari that allows you to have a close-up look at Rwandan chimpanzees. You will get the opportunity to trek chimps in Nyungwe and have a canopy walk during the safari.
Day 1: Travel to Nyungwe National Park
After an early breakfast, the safari begins with a drive to the western province, where you will stop at the Southern Province’s Royal Palace Museum and Ethnographic Museum before stopping for lunch on route. Following lunch, you have a canopy walk in Nyungwe National Park before returning in the afternoon for dinner and a night’s stay.
Day 2: Experience tracking chimpanzee
The day begins with an early breakfast before moving on to the park to monitor chimpanzees. Known for its thirteen kinds of monkeys, Nyungwe Forest was turned into a park for chimpanzee trekking and briefing. After that, you travel back to Kigali to either your guesthouse or the airport in time for your late-night flight.
