Source of the Nile tour Jinja city is located in the eastern parts of the country. Driving from Kampala, the capital city, this happens to be the source of the river Nile, Africa’s longest river. The River Nile starts its way up to the delta from Lake Victoria, Africa’s largest freshwater body.
