Day 1: Transfer to Volcanoes National Park
An early pickup from either your respective accommodation places in Kigali or a pickup from the airport in case you arrived early morning, then head for a city tour to visit the Genocide memorial ground where over 25,000 bodies of victims of genocide were given a decent burial, and later have lunch in a local restaurant before being transferred to Volcanoes National Park, where you will have dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking and transfer to kigali
After your early morning breakfast, you will be transferred to the park’s headquarters with your packed lunch in Kinigi for a briefing by the ranger about the rules and regulations governing gorilla tracking before you head off to the jungle in search of these gentle giants. The gorilla trekking can last from an hour to six hours depending on the gorilla’s movements. On finding them, you will be given an hour with the gorilla to take as many pictures of your choice as you can and later return from your trek and then drive back to Kigali.
