The 3 days Queen Elizabeth wildlife safari will take you to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is Uganda’s popular game park with a variety of animal and bird species. It’s found in the western parts of the country. The 3 days Queen Elizabeth tour will see you encounter lots of animals and birds while on a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel and during game drives then drive to Kyambura Gorge for a chimp tracking experience.
Day 1: Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park
This safari starts with an early morning breakfast, then a drive via Masaka-Mbarara heading to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will stop over in Mbarara for lunch before proceeding with the drive to the far west in Queen Elizabeth National Park for overnight.
Day 2: Early morning game drive and afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise
Here we start the day with an early morning game drive, having taken a cup of hot coffee then drive through tracks of the Kasenyi area, north of the Kazinga plains, as we look out for lions, hippos, elephants, and buffaloes. In addition to those, you see warthogs, waterbucks, Uganda kobs, topis, and sitatunga antelopes. A leopard can always be seen on a lucky day since these creatures are shy and mostly keep to hard-to-reach areas, then return to the lodge for a lunch break and prepare for the afternoon Kazinga Channel boat cruise that will enable you to spot hippos, buffaloes, elephants, and different bird species. Then drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Kyambura Chimp trekking, then drive back to Kampala.
The final includes chimp trekking in Kyambura Gorge and then driving back to Kampala, but all starts with an early morning breakfast with a packed lunch as we drive back to Kampala, having experienced chimp trekking in the gorge.
