After a morning breakfast, the 1 day Kigali City Tour begins with a drive across the city, stopping at the city center and galleries of African craft art before heading to a local restaurant for a sample of the cuisine. Following lunch, we travel through both the old and modern Kigali city while visiting the Genocide Memorial Ground, where more than 2500 victims of the 1994 genocide were given respectable funerals and interred in a mass grave. After viewing a few brief video snippets from the survivors, you can proceed to the cemetery. After that, you will drive around Kigali, stop at the local market, and then head to the hotel.
