The 4 days Uganda Gorilla Golden Monkey Safari takes you to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park is located far southwestern parts of the country, sharing border boundaries with DRC’s Virunga National Park and Rwanda’s Volcanoes National Park. It’s commonly known for gorilla and golden monkey trekking activities. Therefore, the safari takes you to Mgahinga Gorilla Park for the amazing trekking experience.

Day 1: Drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park
The safari starts with an early morning breakfast, then a drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park. On reaching the park, you will check in at the booked safari lodge for dinner and overnight as you get ready for the amazing gorilla trekking experience the following day.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Experience
The day starts with an early morning breakfast, then you drive off to the briefing center to be told about the gorilla trekking dos and don’ts and then allocated to different gorilla groups before entering the jungle for the amazing gorilla trek activity. On completing the trek, you will drive back to the lodge for lunch, and an evening community walk.
Day 3: Golden Monkey Trekking Experience
Having experienced gorilla trekking the last day, here we experience the golden monkey trek as the day starts early morning with breakfast, then we drive to the briefing center. From here we set off to the bamboo jungle that habituates these amazing primates; the trek will take about 3–6 hours. Before returning to the lodge.
Day 4: Drive back to Kampala city.
The day starts with an early morning breakfast, then you drive back to Kampala via Mbarara city for a lunch break before proceeding to Kampala or Entebbe Airport for your flight.
