The 3 days Akagera wildlife tour Rwanda, done in Akagera National Park, has a lot of animal and bird species to offer. It’s an amazing place where you can encounter several animals and birds; therefore, our safari takes you to this amazing park for game drives and bird watching then you drive back to the airport for your flight back home, having fully encountered Rwanda’s Akagera National Park.

Day 1: Kigali Airport pickup and Kigali city tour.

Airport pickup and drive to the booked accommodation lodge for check-in. If time allows, we can conduct a city tour as we visit the craft market, Old Kigali City, Kimironko market, and a historical tour to the Kigali Genocide Memorial.

Day 2: Optional Kigali City Tour and Drive to Akagera National Park

The day starts with morning breakfast, then an optional Kigali city tour if this was not done on day 1 due to late arrival at the airport, and then a drive to Akagera National Park. Here we shall be welcomed with amazing views of wildlife and then get ready for the evening boat cruise on Lake Ihema, which happens to be the biggest lake among many found in Akagera National Park. Look out for lots of aquatic animals, hippos, Nile crocodiles, and many bird species.
