itinerary for 10 days Uganda Rwanda Experience
Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Murchison falls, on the way you will pass through the town, and you will see roadside business-like markets roadside food etc. Stop over at Ziwa for rhino trekking where you walk close to the rhinos after have lunch and processed to the park and visit the top of the falls.
Day 2: Morning Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Early morning game drive, we head out for our drive with our packed breakfast so we can have enough time with the cats before the sun becomes very hot to go and hind in the shade, we also get close to the hippos at the hippo pool for our breakfast after embark on the drive back to the lodge have lunch and go for boat which takes about three hours.
Day 3: Drive to the Capital of Chimpanzee
Have a bright sun rise on the shores of the Nile while having breakfast, after transfer to Kibale national park in the western part of the country passing through tea plantations and driving with the view of Lake Albert bordering Congo on the other side. Have lunch and go for community walk to the top of the world.
Day 4: Chimpanzee Trekking and Swamp Walk
After an early morning breakfast we drive to the park headquarters with our lunch boxes because we don’t know what time we shall be back course after the trek we go for the swamp walk in Bigodi community. At the head office we shall be grouped in small group, and we head out for the chimp trekking.
Day 5: Crater drive to Queen Elizabeth Nation Park
Have breakfast with breathtaking sounds of the birds and the rise, after breakfast we travel to Queen Elizabeth national park through the Crater Lake drive and pass through the towns like Kasese and get to cross the equator and take pictures after checking in and have lunch at the hotel. After head out for evening game drive.
Day 6: Game Drive and Boat Cruise
Wake up early in the morning, have a hot cup of coffee and head to your car and drive out to Kasenyi plain for morning drive where you will encounter many animal species like buffalos, Lions, Kobs, Warthogs etc. After drive to Salt Lake and craft shop later drive to the lodge for hot breakfast and prepare for the afternoon boat cruise.
Day 7: Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Have breakfast with sting view of the Ruwenzori mountains, after have a morning game drive heading southern sector of ishasha sector hope see the tree climbing lions and there after drive more south to Bwindi where we will check in at the hotel and get ready for the unforgettable experience in Bwindi.
Day 8: Gorilla Experience in Bwindi
The Highlight of the safari has come, after breakfast we head to the park headquarter and get the briefing and cultural entertainment by the community. After we will be grouped in small groups and allocated gorilla family that we will be trekking. We will get certificates after the activity and later in afternoon we visit the Batwa community.
Day 9: Head to the Volcanoes
After our gorilla experience in Bwindi we have breakfast, we head to Rwanda in the volcanoes national park. On our way to Rwanda, we have sightseeing of the beautiful landscape and the Volcanoes Mountains and lakes like Lake Mulehe and Lake Mutanda.
Day 10: Golden Monkey and City Tour in Kigali
Breakfast and golden monkey trekking, City tour and end of the Tour.
